The official Section V start date for 2022 spring sports is March 13, 2022. Teams will not begin practice or tryouts prior to that date. See below for the exact start date that each sport team will use.
**7th or 8th grade student-athletes wishing to try out for JV or Varsity sports must complete the Athletic Placement Process. Please note, this program is designed for the exceptional athlete, and the specific talent and physical maturity required will be well above the level of average athletes of a similar age. A student must meet this criteria, along with a recommendation from the coach, to be considered for this process.
